Simple Question Concerning Dual Core Cache

One dual core has a cache configuration of 256kb x 256kb.

The other has a cache configuration of 512kb x 512 kb.

Both are 1.6 MHz.

If I run both at stock speeds with 2 gigs of 667 DDR2 RAM what am I gaining with the 512 cache? In other words, how much of a noticible diffrence is there in performance with such things as Office applications, internet bowsing, and video editing and DVD watching as well as burning, but not gaming?

For browsing and office applications?? No difference whatsoever..

Thanks for the reply. It is a basic laptop that is for college work; no gaming is done on it at all.
