ive seen some fit...but those were orbs. but i wouldnt recommend you doing that if you're serious about it.

the socket is fully compatable, the problem is the Socket A CPU's all have pads on them to help cushion the pressure (prevents the core from cracking). AFAIK, all intel CPU's don't have these pads, so you have to find an insert that does the same job as the pads, or something like that. don't quote me, cause I've never needed to think about this, I just know a bit from random thoughts and knowledge.
