hi guys ,
I just jump into dual monitor bandwagon ..... here is my question ...

monitor 1 is my main , monitor 2 is secondary.
when i run my real player or windows media player in full mode in monitor 2, it will shift from monitor 2 to monitor1 ...why full mode movies have to be in monitor1 ? any solution ? thanks

ok i got it .... but real player still have the same problem .... cant run full mode in monitor 2 .. the secondary monitor ..

it has to do with the overlay settings

what video card are you useing?

and you are gonna ge yelled at for useing realplayer because its more or less crap

answer Anubis's question and you will find the answer ( deep huh ) ....
all kidding aside are U using the extended desktop in windows .... as per Anubis it has to do with the video overlay

In the graphics card settings (I think in advanced) there is a tickbox that says 'use extended desktop' - your desktop will then 'stretch' over both monitors and you can freely drag applications between the two.

But, he said Real Player "shifted" to monitor 1, implying that it started in monitor 2. If had not activated 'use extended desktop', he wouldn't see anything on monitor 2, would he?

well i guess real player only able to play in primary monitor..... i discover this after i did a search on the web... mediaplayer is able to play in both monitor...

I don't know your Vid Card set-up but 2nary Monitors are for 2D only. There is a handy program called UltraMon that makes operations {ie. Shifting, Screen Savers, Controlling} simpler ...

Some video card is weird..
I notice when I had a ti4600, quicktime will play on monitor 1 but not 2, when i drag it half way in the middle, the left side (m1) continues to play, the right side (m2) has a pause pic

When i upgrade to the 5700, it started to play on both side.. now im using the matrox triple head, it seem to play normal speed in monitor 1 but pauses in monitor 2...

I guess its how they implement the drivers..
