I might be getting an x800 pro, to enable me to play the upcoming doom 3 game.
Problem is, I don't think the 300w PSU that came with my computer, is going to cut it.
If it isn't good enough, I'm thinking about upgrading to a Tagan 480w (quality) PSU, so that I'll never need to worry about PSU power again.
But - can someone tell me, if this PSU will be rendered useless, when the BTX form factor arrives? It fits in ATX cases obviously, but what about the new BTX ones? I really want it to be futureproof, if I'm going to shell out ~100USD for a PSU (that's what it costs in Denmark).
