Ok, i have a computer with 1/2x agp slot and i was wondering if there would be a big difference in performance between like an ATI 9200 (agp 4/8x) ATI 9200SE (AGP 2/4X ?) and an ATI 9200 PCI version.

yes but you may be better off with a used 4200ti or something along those lines price/performancewise, even a 5200 (plain) seems to out perform a 9200. If you have AGP get an agp card 1X agp is twice as fast as PCI not to mention the additional features of AGP.

you can get 6800 and x800's that run at 2x AGP surely you can find a 9200 that will run 2x

a 9200(4x/8x) is faster than a 9200SE(1x/2x) because it runs at higher clock speed. It has nothing to do with the speed of the AGP slot.

92x0 series cards still are backward compatible to 3.3V signalling (for 1x/2x restricted mainboards). 9550 and up aren't.

9200 is faster than its SE sibling not because of clock differences, but because the latter has only half as many RAM chips, thus halving the RAM bandwidth even at the same clock.
