Ive got a netgear rt314 router and an alcatel home speedtouch modem...oh yeah.. and bellsouth fastaccess DSL service

here's my setup... phone jack to modem w/ regular phone line.... modem to router w/ RJ45 straight through cable.... router to multiple pcs w/ rj45 straight through cable....

here's my problem.. when i hook just one pc directly up to the modem it will dial up and connect... however, when i use the router and try to connect.. none of the computers can connect.. Im using that EnterNet 300 software and the same username and password for all the computers...

any suggestions??
 

You have to type the DSL's ID and PW into the Router menu.
Then check in the Router menu the place that keeps the connection alive (always on). Instruction to the specific Router will be in the Router Manual.

After doing so, open the Browser, and choose the LAN connection.

Once it is working, you can get rid of the PPPOE software.

 
thanks a lot... i am replying from my new network conncection.. first time ive ever networked anything on my own... it feels good... appreciate the help...
