Simple lan with ICS question

I have the lan setup and I'm using analog Xs proxy server for sharing the internet connection. Is there a way to make the computer with the modem dial up from the computer without the modem? I can get the connection going if I connect to the internet on the server. I just don't want to have to go to the server and get it to dial up whenever I want to surf on the other computer.
Also having problems getting Email unless I'm on the server?

I have mine set up so that the comp with the modem dials on request (the automatically connect checkbox) so if either machine wants the net the modem starts dialing..

Then arose the problem of the modem staying connected til the ISP decided it was time for me to go so I set the inactivity timeout quite low ~5min, A quick and dirty fix I know but it works!

As for e-mail check your proxy (or firewall) isn't blocking it

Hope my experiences help!
