How do I make it so that when I click on links it opens a new tab instead of a new window? I'm not talking about middle clicking, but how do I change the preferences.

never had the desire to do this one? I use firefox on my linux machine I will have to do some playing...

Wow, three useless posts in a row. Thanks screw3d, bootymac, and KLin. Most helpful

Well, my post has a subliminal message telling you to download the All-In-One extension. Then all your problems will be solved

I know, but the software forum is dead compared to OT, so I tried in here

It's the fourth most active forum on all of AnandTech 😛

That's hardly dead.

I know, but comparatively....

Anyways, there is a way to change it without downloading any extentions. I just reformated, so I'm tyring to get everything reconfigured. Before I reformated, my Firefox would open up links in a new tab instead of a new window, but I don't remember how I set it up to do it.
