Simple excel question - how to get the *sum* icon on the toolbar, please advise.

This is on MS Office97. Where do I go to bring up that summation notation icon in the toolbar? Thx.

Hmn...haven't got office 97 but from office xp....

right click on toolbar, go to "Commands" tab

Select "Insert" for categories

then select and drag "Autosum" for command onto the toolbar where you want it....

It's almost the same in 97.

Right-click toolbar, select Customize from the pop-up menu. Then select Insert...
