Simple Electricity Question

Don't know much about electricity, but trying to learn, so thanks for ur help

I want to mod a car charger for use with H10, but its rated at 6V, and H10 is at 5V. Would the charger damage the player?

Thanks a lot, Shu

I would think it would run very hot if it is using 20% more juice than it was designed to use.

Think of it this way -
If your 110v wall outlet was upped to 132v, how many appliances would just burn up? I know I wouldn't plug computers into that.

Bad idea at 20% over. It may work for a while...

If it were mine, I wouldnt anyway. Maybe you can add a diode or something to drop the volts by .7, 5.3 I might try.
