I'm a bit more bullish on mankind's ability to survive and adapt. If the ice all melts we'll have vastly different shorelines, for sure. All the relocation and rebuilding that will need to be done will generate a lot of economic activity. Think of all the historic structures that will have to be rescued from inundation.
