SimCity4Dlx -- Is the game supposed to look like this?

Looks like the way I remember it. The closest thing to a decent city builder thats been released in the last few years was Caesar IV though, and it had its fair share of issues. There hasn't been a good Sim City title since SimCity 3000, plus or minus a release depending on who you ask.

Looks like it's only using 16 bit color. Maybe 32 bit can be forced? I'd up the antialiasing though as depending on the technique used that can add color accuracy (don't know if current cards do).

Supposedly it is running in 32bit...anyone have this installed on an XP machine to do a comparo?

Though I loved SimCity 2000, I found 3000 even better all around and more fun :)

Yeah that's how it looks when you first start a city in God Mode. Later on when you scroll in on the buildings as you build the city, it looks better.
