SIMAP August 2009---No More Work!

Calculation of SIMAP updates is starting soon.
The calculation of new simap workunits containing new sequences from public databases imported in July 2009 (simap app) and their domains (hmmer app) will start in the evening (UTC) of July 31st.

Here are the current numbers for SIMAP for August 2009. Only the active crunchers are listed---the rest of you are in the SIMAP closet.

If you crunch this month, you can come out of the SIMAP closet and tell the world, "I am a SIMAP cruncher!"

Work has slowly started to flow, it seems there's 250k wu's this month, meaning 500k results...

Based on last month amount and issue-speed, my rough estimate indicates only 48 Hours of work until all issued...

First half-day stats are up! Only half the crunchers from last month are active.

The first full-day stats are up. Nine active---one less than last month.

And that seems to have been all the work this month.

Appart for the small possibility of a couple re-issues, there's no more work expected until September.

Actually, it was very close to 50 hours, even didn't open-up for SIMAP-work before looked work was available, still managed to download 1st. wu at 18:09 (local time), and last wu was assigned 19:55 (local time) two days later.
