The game was amazing. I don't know about you guys but I spent countless hours on my 486 playing this game. The design was so cool and original. If they remade the game now with todays graphics, I think it would be the best sh1t ever! Imagine flying around a full blown alive city, with panoramic views, weather, all the goods. Also I never actually knew this until reading wiki but Sim Copter is listed as one of the top 10 controversial games of all time.

What you guys think?
 
A remake would be great. I used to play this game and there were things I liked about it a lot, namely you can create your own cities in SimCity 2000 and import them into the game. Also, the radio stations and drive-in movies were also great ideas. Perhaps a remake by the community would be possible, similar to how they made Privateer (another favorite of mine).
 
I used to play this game a little at one point. It was an interesting concept, esepcially since you could fly in your own cities. The traffic jams you had to stop were rather funny as there was never any apparent reason for them, except for a car in the front who had fallen asleep. 😀

I spent a lot more time with another such game they made, Streets of Simcity. It got pretty bad reviews, mainly due to the horrible Glide performance of its graphics engine, but it actually ran okay in software mode and I had lots of fun with it.
 
I remember I did a police/robbery mission once and I think I got killed... Idk maybe I misremember it.. I did play it like, YEARS AGO... 😵 Only a little though. Fun game when I had time to kill. Didn't work too well with joystick or at all can't remember.
 
not only was it just fun the helicopter sim part of it was actually really good, and the apache was just awesome
