Naw, you get the biggest city by going in concentric rings. R in the middle, C in a ring around it, then I on the outside.

| and _ are roads, ... is just a spacer. Space between roads is R,C,I. Inner rings are R, middle rings are C, outer rings are I. Kinda weird that you can have roads so that no Rs have access to the C or I, but that's the complexity of SC classic 🙂

edit: meh, stupid spacing got messed up and I'm too lazy to fix it. Supposed to be straight roads up and down on the right too... mirror it about the center.

I played a ton of Simcity Classic and Simcity 2k (best Simcity EVAR)..

Once when I was doing my 'hoard the money' trick (essentially build a profitable city, turn disasters off, set it on the fastest, and walk away from the computer), it completely backfired on me. Being dumb, I right clicked on the flying helicopter for fun (crashing the copter always made me laugh) and then I went to a movie. I came back and my entire city was burned down. :Q It appears that one little flame that the helicopter made grew into a big fat fire! :Q :Q :Q
