Silverstone SG01

Just noticed this on Silverstones site: SG01. It appears to be identical to the FragBoxII but much cleaner looking. Personally I like the brushed aluminum one. Has anyone found this for sale anywhere, wonder how much cheaper then the fragbox it is?

btw Silverstone is the OEM for the FragboxII, so that's probably why they had to wait to release this.

Actually, it wouldn't really be a 60mm exhaust limited. The Power supplies we're using currently are have 120mm quiet flow fans standard. Coolmax for example has a 140mm fan in their line power supplies as well. So it balances with the design of this chassis.

Looks nice and clean...but it doesn't have the handle on top which is the part I love about the Fragbox.

I can't wait till Lian Li makes their mATX case 😀

No need to wait, I think Lian Li already makes one for Monarch Computers, the Hornet Pro:

It looks more like a file cabinet than a case though...

After doing alot of research it appears the Fragbox2 is based on a slightly modified SG-01.

The fragbox may have the handle and the bling, but the SG-01 has 2 5.25 bays and cleaner lines IMHO.

I've got a Hornet Pro sitting in my closet, I went back to Shuttle.
This SG01, if it could be made quiet, would be my next choice. It'd be a big upgrade, though, since PSU would be expensive (quiet/powerful=$) and I couldn't justify getting an AGP mobo to pop into it.

Well the SG-01 I got had some quality issues.

Poorly aligned reset button, some gouges in the top of the case, and deep scratches on the inside bottom of the case, so back it went.

I am still deciding if I want to try another one or go a different route.
