SilverStone Case Storage Series SST-CS380 Black Plastic front door, steel body ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Standard PS2(ATX) Power Supply
Limited time offer, ends 06/30 by VirVentures

Now THIS is interesting. This would make an IDEAL unRAID case, at least, one in which you only needed 8x or maybe 10-11x 3.5" drive bays. (There are 8x hot-swap / back-plane 3.5" bays, and then there are two 5.25" bays too.)

Price is not great, but probably in the ball-park, for something this specialized.

I had previously purchased a ThermalTake Level10 case, which has I believe 4x or 5x hot-swap removable drive cartridges/bays, but this one looks a lot better overall.

Edit: Performance PCs has it for $169.99 as a Daily Deal right now. Unsure about shipping costs / tax from PPcs.

I bought this case a few weeks ago to replace my Node 804 case. It was definitely cheaper from Amazon vs PPCs (been the "daily deal" for like a month). It's a great case and SAS works fine with my LSI 9211-8i card.

The 2x included side fans for drive cooling are very quiet BUT marginal at best for air flow. I swapped them with Phanteks SP 120SP fans and lowered my drive temps by 5-8 degrees. Using the Dynamix Autofan plugin I can control the speed based on HDD temps.

Caveat unrelated to this case is that UnRAID doesn't support spinning SAS drives down.
