Silver sharks (Bala sharks): are ordinary fish flakes ok as food for them?

Lifer
?

Just got one, and while the tetras (neon and hockey) zoom around eating, he doesn't seem so interested...

do you have pics of the setup ?

not atm...batts are flat, i've not tried taking decent pics of it...and i'm drinking beer, posting, and playing n64 emu so i can't be bothered...

just a 45l setup, little power filter/aerator, heater (about 24'C atm).

Are you talking about bala sharks? If so, they aren't really sharks, and normal fish food will suffice. They are great fish - I once had four of them. They are very attractive and get along with the other fish in the tank.

yeah 😀 I've decided our is called Cecil (he's the smallest i could get). Our tank seems one big happy family atm, neons chasing each other around crazily, hockeys cruising at the top, and eating like they've not eaten for a month when you feed them, and Cecil cruising about in a very laid back and cool manner 😀

Tropical Fishtanks rock
