Silly computer questions/statements?

My computer died recently and after checking everything out, I was sure it was either the CPU or the Mobo. I called up my mom and told her what happened and that I was coming over to borrow her CPU to see if it was the Mobo. "Oh is that the modem?" she asked, to which I replied "No that's your CPU. Your modem is called a modem." Even she started laughing and said "I guess that makes sense!"

Doing tech support, I had a guy from down south once, working on a printer, I was gonna have him print a test page, explained how, and told him to go ahead and do it..

And he replied " So ya want me ta mash down on them pushy things with the flashin lights on top?"

Yea.. mash away at them pushy things... he never did get the test page printed no matter how hard I tried to explain it to him...

This is not a question or statement but an action: In a basic training I told the trainees to &quot;move the mouse to the upper right corner of the screen&quot;. One woman literally did what I said. My bad I should have said &quot;mousepointer&quot;. Quite nice seeing her holding the mouse to the monitor.
