SilenX Case Fans

NO

Ordinary Yate Loons are more than adequate for most. Very low prices from nexfan.com (use cheapship code for $5. flat shipping), jab-tech.com and petrastechshop.com et al.

There is another thread on these fans.......from just last week...
I would steer clear of this brand at all costs...
They are not truthful with there DBA specs and they use shoddy buisness practices to get people to buy their products...

Also stay away from Thermaltake there fans are very loud and again their DBA specs are not true at all.

I use CoolerMaster fans but I am sure there are quieter fans that others will suggest!!
Good Luck!! 😀

I have a couple different models of the Coolermaster Silent LED fans and some Yate-Loon D12SL-12's and have been happy with all of them. Fans I have not been happy with: Antec 120mm Tri-Cool, Vantec Stealth 120mm and 92mm, and SilenX 92mm.

i ordered two for my case. i actually like the blue lights but the antec fans are already getting noisier. the code doesn't seem to work anymore tho.

I had two SilenX iXtrema 120mm fans start to grate after just 5 months. Had to replace them, so I would not recommend that brand.

Antec Tricool 120mm fans list 79CFM @ 2000RPM at 30dBA on their box as top setting for what it's worth.

Also, some cases like mine will only accept 25mm or thinner front fans depending if they are located inside or outside (just behind the bezel).

Gotta agree! That's what I'm using right now. No complaints! I can't hear them at all, on any setting!

Well, the LEDs tend to fade with use... but I think that's a LED thing.

If you need like 4 of them, don't buy 2 now, and 2 a year from now, otherwise the difference in brightness will drive you nuts! 😉
