Silencer case fans

I have seen a few differing opinions about the PC Power and Cooling Silencer case fans. Some like them, some do not. I would like to know how they compare to the Panaflo L1A, specifically in terms of air flow and quietness. Please, do not go by what you have heard from other people, but reply if you have used these fans. Thank you.

have not used those - but I have used the Enermax adjustable fans and I highly recomend them.

Just because the fan is quiet does not mean you will not have turbulent noise from the case grills - the adjusable fans can be tweaked - I found that each fan location seems to have a certain speed where it is really noisy (harmonics?) and really quet - a single speed fan may be quet alone, but depending on where you put it, it could be noisy.

theres no reason to spend more than $4 on a 80mm fan for something quiet.. (get a panaflo l1a from bgmicro)

I bought a couple of the silencer fans snice they come with 4 pin connectors already. They are great, I can't hear them.

I have Silencers in 3 of my PC's and think they are excellent. I haven't made a head-to-head comparison with the comparable Panaflos, although I recently ordered some to try them out.

i'm using both the panaflos and the silencers and both are great...the only thing i don't like about the silencer fans is the fact that the molex tails did not come with both the male / female adapter so you can chain them.......only the female to plug into. Not a big deal and easily rectified but I typically can't be bothered with making 'mods' to my fans.
