Significant figures question

If you were converting 1 micro century to minutes, how many significant figures do you use?

I havnt done sigfigs in a while and can't remember when you are doing conversion of units how you decide



And no this isnt an answer to a homework problem, but it will help me do my homework later if I understand it. The book explains nothing ;-/

Probably just keep the same number of figures as the thing you are converting. Which in this case is 1

Thats what I thought, but it doesnt make sense with some of the homework questions :-/

4 x 4 x 8 = 128

1 sig fig, so its rounded down to 100?
