Signature is Not too LONG!

I cut and pasted my signature into the txt message box on verizon wireless. It states 227 characters. If we are allowed to go up to 250 then why is it still saying it is too long?

250 includes html MrMaster, bet yours is longer than 227. Any ahref's in your sig? is all the sig in fusetalk bbcode i.e etc.

I can't update my profile because it's saying the sig is too long. I was able to update my profile just after (the night of) the switchover. Has the sig length been reduced since then? And it's the one I've used for a long time.

Be sure to take out the extra stuff (class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge and whatall) that got included on the upgrade. That's getting counted against the PM limit, or at least that's how it appeared when I tried to update my profile after the change.

I'm guessing the max sig length wasn't lowered. The conversion just added a bunch of junk code that made it too long.

Why can't I get the emoticons to work in my sig?
