Nice idea Garry.

I think we should try and vary our sigs, so that they arent the same thing that people have seen time and time again... 🙂 But I'm still happy with mine just the same.
 
I've started to rewrite the leadoff portion several times but I really like this part a lot:

We are in a short-term race (ended on February 28th, 2002) with a most arrogant and boastful bunch of folks on the [edit] BBR Team Starfire [edit] DSL Reports Seti Team. They have been rolling over people in the last year. They like to not only pass a team that is ahead of them but they like to humiliate them as well. They looked like they were about to pass your Team AnandTech SETI sometime in January 2002. So what did they do but challenge us to a race. Their goal was to not only win the RACE but to pass us in the World Team Rankings at the same time. You would say they wanted to rub our noses in it.

Well, we have more pride than to just step to the side of the road and let them have their way with us. We have been fighting back. What have we been fighting back with? With NEW MEMBERS! We have now just about equaled their daily production (Computer Power) but we need more help so we can actually start putting them further and further back of us. We call upon our AnandTech Membership to help us in this effort. Even if you are not turned on by the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, you obviously take pride in your computer(s) and in your skill in building and maintaining them in peak condition. Let?s show these ?Hi Speed Internet Connection Guys? that there is more to running a computer than just surfing the web.

Everytime I read it ... I get fired up. I sorta hope you all do too. 😀

PS: I'll put the rewrite/update high on my list of things to do. 😉
