lol yeah. When I was dual enrolling I had to take a technology class or two, so I took the mind numbing computer pre-reqs because they wouldn't take up any time outside of class. Hey dude, wait it out and you may even learn how to multiply in Basic! 😛
 
Go into the classroom early and write several paragraphs of code on the board. In the middle of class, get up and change one word of the code a bit. Stare at it, shake your head slowly, then change it back.



 
At the college I'm taking online classes from, the bookstore is told to have students buy an A+ book. I declined, but later thought "wtf would this help in using teh intarweb?". I still haven't figured that one out.
I haven't decided if I wanna do EE, buisness or law, and have started doing the engineering transfer reqs, but if I switch to buisness, I will prolly have to take an intro to computing too~
 
its your own damn fault for taking a course for absolute beginners with NO computing experience. I gurantee it says something to that nature in the course catolog. Its like a math major taking a course on addition and subtraction and bitching about it. Take a real course in database management, C++, Advanced Java, or something to that effect.
 
Doesn't your college have a challenge process for "advanced students"?

Though it is a community college, and you know what Chris Rock said. 😛

It's been my experience that you have at least one thing to gain from this...

the hottest chicks ALWAYS take courses like these and are not very bright either (mind you, this is a generalization, as I'm sure every feminist in the forum is going to come at me with some sort of comment)...so take that for what you will....

you may not get an education, but you can try getting laid....
