::sigh:: Terrell Davis is trying to come back AGAIN

Why won't the man just give up? His legs have had as much reconstructive surgery as Michael Jackson's face, and the Broncos already have Rookie of the Year Clinton Portis. Can't he see that he's through? If he keeps trying to come back and injure himself, by the time he's 40 he'll be riding a motorized cart....:disgust:

If he wants to play, let him play. It would be nice to see him retire before he screws his body up too much though.

My point is, he's not going to play again. Unless Clinton Portis gets injured, he's their man. Even then, Olandis Gary will probably play backup.

I'm just disappointed to see such a great RB who's legs are all shot up trying desperately to come back just to ride the pine all season.

The guy is a great running back. Think of it from his perspective. It was his dream to play in the NFL. He worked his arse off his entire life. He's not the type of guy to just give up, no matter what. I admire him for it. But I also wish he would just give up because its a losing battle. I still root him on though.

What do you mean trying to come back again? He only retired once (before last season) didn't he?

He is still young. Plus he has had a year off. I don't see any problem with him attempting a comeback.

Anyone know what Barry Sanders is doing these days ? He was perfectly healthy...

Coach Mooch is trying to get him outta the retirement.

rumours has it that Sanders has some stipulation if he comes back. One being he can fetch offers from other teams. Don't know who quick and in shape he can be after 4 years.
