yep, last couple seasons have been weak.

I thought last season was hilarious, probably one of the better ones.

This season has been down compared to others, I enjoyed the pool episode the best so far.

This season has been completely hit or miss. But when it hits WOW. Same goes for when it misses.

I prefer The League.

Similar style of humor, except not every episode is built solely around how offensive the characters can be given a random scenario. The writing is better overall and with better plot (semi-loosely tied to the premise of a fantasy football league).

Taco (Jon Lajoie) is pretty much Charlie, though, but more laid back.
I'm surprised more people aren't watching his show, it's easily one of the few shows I've burst out laughing often in the past 2 years.

It's Always Sunny has gotten old over that period, though. The height of the show for me was the Day Man play, haven't watched the show regularly since then.

I agree with this.

Older Sunny > The League > current Sunny

This last episode was hilarious when the guys were talking about what happened and they kept making Dee look more and more like a bird and then Mac's story Dee is actually an ostrich. I loled as soon as I saw it until it was over.

Same here w/ the lol =)

I thought the episode was prob the best of this season, but I do agree overall this season hasn't been the greatest. "don't flush it!"

I love this show. Even a bad episode is still great. This is one of those shows where I can watch the same episode 3 times back to back to back and still enjoy it. Almost no other show can do this.

Charlie is one of my favorite characters ever. Danny Devito's interactions with him just multiply the awesometude.

Yeah, the more recent episodes have been better. I rewatched the earlier ones from this season and I like them more than I did originally as well, which is what happened with season 5.

They showed this week's episode at Comic Con, so I had already seen it, but it was still great the second time around.

Charlie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Taco. Very different characters as well IMO.

seems like they're splitting up the gang more this season and there's barely been any danny devito.

I definitely lol'd at that part.

Correct. But I'm thinking they had to integrate the pregnancy thing in, and that probably hurt the angle of the show a bit.

I dont know about that. The earlier shows didn't seem affected, and the pregnant episode was imo the best of the season so far

I'm going to watch Who Got Dee Pregnant thanks to this thread. I too have felt that this year is really lackluster. I can't put my finger on it either, and there's something weird about the way Dennis looks. He just looks, older, and I don't even know why, it's only been a year.

someone else noticed that! He looks waaaay older than anyone besides Frank on the show now. The marriage angle made no sense either, he's a sociopath...

Alright, I'll go on the record and say Sunny has redeemed itself. Mac's Big Break, Who Got Dee Pregnant? and last week's episode have made this season quality. I was choking on laughter during Lethal Weapon 5.

I was disappointed at the lack of "I'm too old for this shit"... I was expecting it for the whole episode :p.
