Give it a try. It'll always grow back if you don't like it. I've had long hair since highschool(I'm now 40), and if I were to cut my hair short, I'd definitely shave my head first. It would be worth it for the shock value to people that know me, and I've always been kind of envious of people with shaved heads. I think it's a good look, and very easy to take care of. The only downside is you have to keep up with it to keep it smooth.

Pills are bad for you and have side effects, including limp dick. Rogaine kinda works but keeps the short/fuzzy "faux" hair, not the long, luxurious hair that you really want. I was on it for a year and eventually got tired of the shit dripping into my eyes. It kept the hair that i had, kinda... but try it if you'd like, but it's not going to regrow your hairline..

As long as you are trying to use hair growth products you will be constantly agonizing over how long it will last, if people can notice its thinner, etc, etc. You're in denial, and it will make you miserable.

Accept that you are bald and shave it. And be proud of it. You will feel better about yourself.

Or you could just like your hair and are pulling out all the stops to keep it, while accepting that what happens happens.

I dont know if it works or not.....I think it just prevents your hair from balding more.
Either way it doesn't hurt. Rogaine Foam.

Rather than possibly wasting your money on this, the best thing to do is take a picture of your hair right after getting your haircut each month (or however often you get it cut). Make sure to take it under the same lighting conditions. You can then compare your pics from month to month to see if your treatments are making any difference. If they aren't, then drop them.

Is this the wrong thread to say that I could grow a full head of hair, but shave it bald because it's quicker?

On one hand i'm rubbing it in, but on the other hand the shaved look is acceptable enough that plenty of people do it by choice.

I recommend keeping the beard but shaving the top of it across for a nice line. Right now its climbing up your cheek like moss.

I prefer the comfort/no maintenance etc. of the shave. Cheap too.

Venkman ... spend that money on laser eye surgery, and a good pair of clippers and your updated look will be complete.

screw lasik, I have contacts for when I need to be social. As for clippers, well I'll just head to Lady Janes every couple of months. 😉

that pic doesn't look so bad, if you're tall people won't even see it. 29 and man my hair was falling out at a decent clip. Then I tried trader joes shampoo, no conditioner. At least it's not falling out anymore but the damage may have already been done. Get the really foamy shampoo. When my hair was falling out it was way oily for awhile, get all that oily stuff out and you'll be good. Someone needs to transplant my legs hairs cause I got too much of that, some day.
