Well, this time i didn't have to wait for a few months to get the product... at least not yet. Then again it hasn't came and he claims that it was lost in the mail.

This was his last e-mail

"I got a hold of them [post office] and they said they will look into it and get back to
me.. However, it says in the auction I am not responsible for anyting that
goes past after I have shipped it off to you, due to there is no tracking or
anything.. If you sent me something at regular mail, I would not ask for my
moeny back either, cause it not your fault it was lost it is the postal
office, hence the reason why I got in contact with them."

Can anyone find where in his ebay listing he said that? F-ing lier!

What can i do about this? I paid via paypal so can i file a complaint there?

Is it indeed "my problem" if he sent it (still hasn't showen me recipt) but i don't get it?

Any other ideas would be great!

Thanks
Paul

EDIT: I know it isn't for a lot of money but shipping set me back 10 bucks US and i can get some decent ram sinks for that (which is why i bought these in the first place)

The not regestered user happend after i bought them

Do a Paypal chargeback to get your half a coke's worth of money back then. If he can't prove it was shipped out, there's nothing he can do to stop it.

ya, i know about the feedback. but it was a good deal and there weren't any other heatsinks inside of canada, so i went for it. I am still in contact with him but he seems to be a jerk.

Much as it sucks, you should have known better. This is why most reputable people buy for a while on eBay before trying to sell. Too much shady shite goes on for you to trust someone who's very new, has very few feedbacks and is selling. He's a d!ck, certainly, but you need some common sense.

Why is it eBay will intervene if a buyer does not pay, but if a seller does not complete the deal, the buyer is shafted?

When you paid with paypal, did you use a credit card? If so, you can contact the credit card company and say that you never received the merchandise, and that you don't want to pay for something you didn't get. Also, do a chargeback on paypal......

Because egay doesn't give a shite about the buyer! As long as they get their money from the seller, they're happy

I cancelled that credit card because i had to pay of 2 dollars every time i paid a bill. I know its not much, but its 24 bucks i could be doing something else with. I did pay via mastercard, would i still be able to contact them?

You paid $23.50 for shipping and handling?

But their both newbies 😀 so who is it to blame but themselves? Me thinks that this new seller is not really new, it someone with another account who has been scamming people for quite sometime.
Ebay finds out due to samr or similar personal infos and instant ban.
