Anyone used/use them? I am about to buiy one but want a second opinion. Thanks!

edit- Changed Siemen to Siemens 😱:disgust:

I have them and they by far the best phones I've ever had. The receivers is a corded hand set speakerphone and answering machine, and its comes with 2 handheld units which you can connect anywhere (no need for a phone line). I also picked up the outdoor attenna to extended the range even further. I highly recommend Siemens phones.

Your thinking of buying a siemens phone...HA HA HA! Wait till I tell the guys at work that we've suckered another one.

Oh was that out loud... I mean sure there great phones. Buy as many as you can, help me keep my job!

Seriously I do work at siemens icn, but I couldn't tell you weather or not the phones are any good, I've never owned one. I just couldn't resist a little fun.😀

I have however heard other people say good things about them.🙂

Siemens obviously doesn't hire based on one's spelling/word usage.

Dunno about their home phones, but daaaaaaaaaamn do they have a nice new cell phone out. My friend that I play pool with has one, but I haven't been able to find it online. It has a color lcd screen, and a nice "joystick" in the middle, for better navigation.........you can dl pictures and other things. I want one, but have to find one first. 🙂

Good luck with your researching anywho.

I like them alot after using one at my friend's place. A large electronic store had one on sale, but I didn't get it 🙁. Exact same model, black one $45.99, white one $19.99(or was it the other way around.. anyways). How does that make sense? I got a GE 2.4GHz instead.

I kid because I care. I just do it to make myself feel better, nothing against anyone I make fun of. I have an inferiority complex and putting others down helps me feel superior on some level.

I don't think Siemens markets any of their phones here. I have heard of some people buying the S40 from overseas. That one is supposed to be pretty good. I think the Ericsson T68i is better though, and it'll be out in a month or two.

Oh well I know my grammar is bad. Hopefully it will improve with a few thousand posts in this forum.😱

Got a Siemens 2.4GHz phone right next to me, and i must say its the worse cordless phone i've ever used. I don't know whats wrong with it but there is so much static and random pops and clicks, and the range on my 900mhz is far superior.
I like my uniden so much better

I got 2 Siemens 2.4 ghz cordless phones for 19.99 apiece off Ubid. They are pretty damn good, I can't say im dissatisfied for 20 bucks apiece.

Their high end cordless stuff owns. The cheaper models are hit and miss, but I've liked the ones I've used. Their more expensive stuff is usually really really nice. I like NEC for corded stuff and Siemens for cordless.

If you're going to buy a high end model then go for it.

Otherwise consider Uniden, Panasonic or Toshiba.

i dunno about hit or miss but the 2.4 i have been using is awesome. there arent many cordless phones out there that have more options than the siemens ones...

I really don't give a damn how technically superior one phone is over others. Whatever the phone is, it better have A. good clarity, B. feels comfortable on my ears and C. lasts at least a few years. Unfortunately A and B are very hard to come together. I have a GE, because it's the most confortable and it's performance isn't that bad. I won't expect it to last more than a year or two, because every GE cordless phone I've had broke in less than two years.
