Just for info, the Siemons/Infineon ram chips will ID as CAS3 not CAS2. They are great chips however and can easily be set to run CAS2 in the bios. Great stuff.

Have you or anyone ordered from these guys? A little worried
based on the "site designed by a 3 year old" look.

Thanks for the excellent post, complete and very informative.

No, I had run across that on my own, but I see that the folks here got to it first. They deserve the credit.

That's not a good rating. Also, they don't list the chip numbers, and there are some that will not run much over spec, also if they are on a 4 layer pcb, it is low quality. Good price if it stacks up.

insane shipping charges, people reporting they have gotten several dimms of bad sdram from them, and ..
"memplus.com for all your computer needs"
and there is a dog on the logo? why does this not fit in well? hehe seems a bit odd to me, nice price but not worth it if im going to have to send it back even once, and pay up to 20$ shipping on memory

thanks for the post though

No flames please, as just trying to help. I would never post here, but thought if you are considering Infineon, this might be worth looking at.256Mb Infineon Ram.

At least you'll know exactly up front what you will get, and have input from others who use it. :)

Compuwiz, glad to see you are helping to make sure people get quality stuff. :) thanks

I found the Infineon ram & thought it was a good deal, so I posted it.
(however I have never dealt with "Memplus")

i just bought a Siemens/Infineon 256mb chip at a computer show the other day for $107 cash. i was a little worried that it might not work with my dell dimension, but when i opened up the case to drop it in, lo and behold, Infineon Ram! so i guess my point is if dell uses this ram, it's good enough for me. now if only i can figure out how to get to the ram setting in the dell bios.....
