Side bar toggle

I'm probably almost alone in this, but can the side bar that was added a few days ago be toggled off per user? If so, where can i find that, i haven't found a way on my own. 🙁

The current option is not available, but I have asked that it be. According to Derek, there are other pressing issues so this option is on the backburner.

I just used Adblock to remove it.
