Sid Meier's Pirates!

Is this game any good? sounds interesting. I;ll have to look for a demo.

It's fun, no real story or deep gameplay, but what is there is very well done. An action/adventure game in the old style - the same as the original.

Agreed. A good game, some people get a ton of playing time out of it, but I got bored quick. Probably a demo available? There's not a whole lot of different things to do so the demo would give you a good idea on what to expect.

I just bought it for 20, I like it, but like Old Pirates on the Apple IIGS, it gets old after awhile.

Good for 6 hours of play, then putting down for 6 months. But you get about 6 hours ever 6 months.
