Ok, so yesterday morning was a really soar throat and mucus buildup and sinus pressure.

By last night, I was feeling better and I thought it was all passed. Well, as I tried to go to sleep tonight, I hade sinus pressure, scratchy eyes, scratchy throat. I couldn't go to sleep, so I went to the gas station and bought some Alavert, because it said it relieved sinus pressure, scratchy eyes, scratchy throat, and I got some Halls cough drops.

Well, it is 4AM and I still haven't gotten any sleep. I am rarely ever sick (maybe once a year for a day).

WTF? So since the Alavert isn't doing anything, it's probably not allergies? This sucks.

Any ideas? It just feels like a "head cold".

I have the same thing. I can't sleep. And i have to get up for work in less than three hours.

I tried Tylenol Cold and Sinus saturday night. I tried Claritin early monday and then I tried some Vicks 44 crap later on.

Nothing is helping.

Well, it seems the Alavert finally started to work, oh about 4 hours after I took it. Sooo... I got a good 1.5 hours of sleep. Today is going to be fun. Coffee pot, here I come.

It's allergies. It's been REALLY bad this year. We are both miserable. I just took a Claritin D, hopefully that will clear up my nose.

My eyes are so bad I can't wear my contacts because this disgusting goo starts building up, my nose is completely stuffed up and because I've been snorting for the past 2 days my throat is killing me. :|

Any idea what it is exactly? It has been muggy around here the last few days, so I didn't think it would be allergies (at least not to tree pollen or ragweed). Maybe I'll check what usually spawns this time of year.

I just noticed that we all live in the north east. Ohio, Michigan, New York, Maryland... it probably is allergies.

Pollen.com says the predominent pollens now are: Ragweed, Chenopods and Nettle.

Well, at least I possibly know what it is now.
