Someone is a sick bastard.

Who in the hell glues razor blades onto playground equipment?????

My guess?... Kids....probably 11-13 years of age. 2-3 kids present when it happened because doing something like that would take severe immaturity, showing off, but enough cognative awareness of the crime that they would see it as potential for being amusing.

Based on the age range estimate and materials required, the kids probably live nearby.

Saw this on facebook the other day and figured it was one of those bs spam stories. I was sickened to see I was horribly wrong.

Few years back someone embedded razor blades into wooden blocks and buried them in the sand at one of Toronto's beaches. Under the volleyball courts where people were likely to be barefoot. Thankfully they were discovered before anybody got hurt.

The thing for the wackos to do now is lace hot dogs with rat poison and leave them lying in dog parks. Been a few incidents around here of that over the years. A few pets have died as a result.

It seems like today is the day for disgusting/disturbing news, between this and the guy that raped a dog, apparently more than once, and some things I've heard around the office. I've never had a lot of faith in humanity, but stories like these don't really help that position............

I think its probably kids that did this, teenagers perhaps with no thought of consequences and such!

Yeah...I remember maybe 15 years ago, some nutcase in my area was going around taping needles to gas station pumps (on the inside lever, where you don't normally ever look). Nobody knew if they were infected or what. People are crazy

I tend to stay away from the DooM and GlooM® Media and read more about awesome stuff people do. It helps me have a more positive view on humanity.

Dog park near my old place bordering harlem used to have broken glass thrown in it all the time. I usually only went to it on weekends, and each time I could pick up about 30 pieces of glass.

If the kids would stop masturbating and getting harry palms, this wouldn't be necessary.
