My contract with Verizon is done. Im afraid they can pull the grandfathered unlimited data away from me now.
Just buy your phones outright.

F'me I have 5 iPhones, two that go in and out of no wireless but have to be connected (one a 14 year old and the other me for my job).
I have 12GB a month now at $120. I am trying to reel the 14 year old in that he just can't do whatever he wants on his phone or laptop tethered.
We should be fine with 4GB max and usually just the 2GB on my usage profiles.
Yeah that tiered data structured was made to make us single phone users pay more but cost less for people like you that would want to have more than one phone with data. Which is crap because at 12gb you are pretty much paying what you would an isp to offer you the net.
They are hoping people upgrade their data so they can charge you more or go over it.
With all the crap out there you can stream and watch at the speed you get you can blow through 4gb in less than an hour if you wanted to. What a bunch of crap really. WiFi at my office is not available unless you are testing code on company devices.
