Pisses me off to no end as well. Can't even run a forum or blog without getting them infiltrating the place. All the forums I run have registration turned off because I simply gave up. I was getting over 100 per day on each forum.

One of these days when I have more time I will come up with a better captcha system. Most spammers just go right through regular captchas. I think they just do it manually, or have bots that can read the image.
