don't feel bad about missing work. your kids are more important and that's what sick days are for. just keep him in bed or laying down on the couch. whenever my son is too sick to go to school, i tell him that he's also be too sick to play with toys or run around or do anything strenuous. he can lay down and watch tv. after a couple days of that, he almost drives himself to school.
