Siblings murder younger brother

All I wanna know is, why and how?

They knew how to dig a grave and stab for the neck? Are they trained assassins? They even planned the entire coverup as a hide and seek game? WTF?!

To skace's point: Don't forget, violent TV and movies don't affect people. The TV and movie people said so.

if i had to put my money on what this was caused by, i'd put it on bad parenting.

also, the girl is 15 years old, she isn't exactly at a virgin age (when it comes to knowing how to logically piece things together).

Because the parents aren't resposible AT ALL for what their children see on TV and in movies.

They might show someone HOW to do something, but so do books, if you read the right ones. It's the crossing the line over to the "Dark Side" that's where the questioning comes in.

right, there are plenty of very famous books that have plenty of sex and violence in them.

i watched silence of the lambs when i was really young (i was like 6 or something)... i've been watching violent movies ever since i've been watching movies. guess how many people i've killed? guess how many people i will kill? 10! haha, just kidding, i'm not going to kill anybody!

That's pretty spooky. I wonder if either child (esp that 15yo) exhiibited any signs of abnormal/violent behavior prior to this?

Is it confirmed all 3 had the same mother and father? Since it doesn't say otherwise I suppose they do.

How did I know that happened in Texas before I clicked on the link? I think there's a trend:

Andrea Yates
That freak who let the person bleed to death in her windshield
Enron

Don't forget about South Carolina and that dolt Susan Smith.. "my babies... ".

Good Lord.

I was convinced I hated my sister when she was about that age, but I wouldn't have killed her. The worst I ever did was put a couch cushion between us when she tried to sit by me. 😀

Luckily I outgrew that stage, & she's now one of my best friends.

Too bad he'll never get that chance.

You blame everything on bad parenting🙂

<< To skace's point: Don't forget, violent TV and movies don't affect people. The TV and movie people said so. >>

Because we all know the parents are never to blame for not raising their kids properly.

Tis a sad sad world in which we live...I cannot even fathom committing something like that at their Age....just scary and I also believe this has something to do with bad parenting, just a tragedy.

Oh give me a break... while this is a terrible incident, TV and movies had nothing to do with it. This kind of thing is as old as Cain and Abel (or if you don't believe in the Bible, at least remember that that legend/myth/whatever is at least 5,000 years old).
Place the blame squarely where it belongs... on the psycho children who actually committed this terrible crime and the parents who raised them.
