I play BF1942 and have been lots of trouble flying with my logitech 3d pro.

Im used to it, and I guess its alright...but I just dont like the feel of it.

Is Siatech better compared to Logitech, if so, which model?

Is the 3d pro force feedback?

Can someone link me a better joystick (must be siatech vs logitech) or am I just being picky?

I read a lot of reviews for misc. peripherals. I generally hear better things about the Saitek joysticks. The Cyborg Evo comes to mind as a cheaper (than the x52) Saitek joystick.

Saitek..... My last two Logitechs lasted about 1 month each..... this saitek has lasted nearly three years.

I've got an older Cyborg gold USB.

Adjustments are nice but I don't think I ever really needed to adjust it much if at all.

So which is a better joystick to fly with in Battlefield 1942, the Cyborg evo force feed back, or the non-force feed back.

Is there a major difference?

I have the non force feedback.....I've tried force feedback... and found that while you can get used to it, - force feedback didn't really do it for me... and at times was a distraction... and in my opinion.. one more thing that will break.

For BF42, I'd say just get a simple non-feedback one. I mean, unless you're hardcore flight siming, I don't think you need all that fancy stuff.

I dont really care if its fancy, im just scared I wont adjust well.

I currently fly with a logitech 3d pro force, should I stick with it or return it to get a saitek?

If there's nothing wrong with it, stick with it. You really don't need all those features, considering that BF42's planes are very basic.

config a joystick for BF1942 is a little hard ! i had to think for a while and came up with a crazy setup. but it works great with DC/BF2. BF1942 you will need mouse skill as you don't target lock on. i will post a screenshot of my setup later :!
