and actually in a much nicer little case (Mac style case)
i have no idea what's inside them other than a P4 CPU.

i just ordered the nforce 2 version of that with 2 512 sticks of ddr ram, and a radeon 9700 pro,

and a 200gb hd, can't wait till it shows up next week!!!!!!

whoa, that's alot of cash. I think imma wait a bit, let prices drop. I don't game that much, so in a few months from now, it will be the perfect machine.

that really isn't alot for what you get, since it has on board everything....
 
I was looking at Shuttle cubes for a HTPC but decided I wanted quiet instead of small, so am going with a $100 Cooler Master 620 mATX desktop case (takes full size / quiet power supply) and $43 closeout intel i815e mobo from compgeeks. Four full-height slots, plenty of drive bays, looks nice in an AV rack.
 
Good decision. The Shuttle cubes are very noisy unless you do heavy modification to the retarded power supply 40mm fan. It's amazing how nice the cube looks but you're in for a big shock when you hear what sounds like a vacuum cleaner turn on..
