Shuttle SV24....when is the socket A version comming out?

I want one, the only bad side is they only have socket 370's now. I've seen ads saying socket A and P4 versions comming soon, but how soon lol! Anyone one know an ETA? These things are pretty cool, just wish they had an AGP slot and room for one more HD.

I really need something this small, especially a Socket A version. You could put a Geforce2 MX400 64mb PCI in there.

Yup. I am most likely going to use it as a mp3 file storage, cdburner, gateway type of deal. So graphics isnt a concern. They would make a sweet LAN box though. I hear the socket a version is based on the 266A chipset, wich is well worth waiting for. Altough a duron 1ghz might get kinna hot in there. I duuno maybee a C3 would be better.

Socketa = probably never. Cooling problems. Still is possible but not likely.

there is a socket A version comming out. It's called SK31. there's the SV25 for the Tully and the Sv 40 for socket 478. I have no idea about dates though. sure would like to see those come out.

at this page the socket A version is called sv40 and the socket 478 sv50!

Does anybody have further news on the sv24 successor?
