Shuttle SB61G2 (i865G) $330 @ mwave

That's about what I paid for the SB51G when it first came out. My how time flies...

The Shuttle XPCs don't overclock very well, but are otherwise wonderful machines.

Decent prices on the rest of the SFF XPC line.
Shipping comes to about $18 for me in the east coast.

Too bad I just picked up a black SN41G2 from Newegg for $330 shipped... about $8 cheaper.

Crap, googlegear has it for $319 shipped 2nd day 🙁

This one will, the BIOS features adjustable voltages 🙂

is there a new version of the nforce2 shuttle due out with voltage/multi control?

The SN45G is coming out w/ 400MHz Barton support, O/Cing features and NO integrated video.

ANyone know if the shuttles mobo/bios handles big 160/200 gig hard drives without the ata133 pci card?

my friend runs 2 200 gig hard drives in his sb51g... the hard drives work fine, but he has terrible heat problems

Ah, that it does. I wonder if the older Shuttles will be offered BIOS upgrades that feature voltage manipulation...

I am typing on mine now, so far I love it, I had some problems (as others have had) with an ATI AIW 9700 pro in mine, seems a problem with the circuitry in the mobo, some of them work some don't. Other than that its been working great for me. I have a GeForce FX 5600 256mb card in it now w/ 1gb PC3200, P4 2.4c, 120gb SATA HD, and a TV Tuner card and its working great.

Heat isn't bad and compared to my old systems its pretty quiet. They come with a 200w power supply, they made a new enhance power supply that took care of the old power issues and is quieter.

Overall I would reccomend it.

btw sudhian or formerly viahardware have an excellent forum on all xpc issues - especially making it virtually silent
