Good stuff ;) Just when I'm considering to "upgrade" to those small systems.

BTW, given a choice, would you guys prefer the nForce2 based XPC or the current SS51G?

Mmmmmmm... when cash is liquid I plan to get a Shuttle box. Something AMD would be more my price range....
Pity the box alone costs as much as a cheap-but-decent computer. Then you STILL need a CPU/RAM/HD.... :(

Wish they were cheaper..... but they ARE Uber-cool! :D

Around here it's more like $350US for the NEWER models... that $250 price tag is only for the old, crappy ones with a single PCI slot on a riser and a tiny, screaming fan. :frown:

That or I just can't get a good deal on one here in Canada. :(

USD$350 sounds about right. The shops in my place (Malaysia) are selling SS51G at ~USD$330. Not sure whether they've lowered the price or not since it's been a few weeks since I've checked out the price.

I must admit..... that $350 price tag includes a good motherboard (on the new models) an ALUMINUM case, LIQUID cooling system... High end stuff to be sure.
I'd like it if they made two different nForce2 models, one with 2 PCI, another with 1AGP/1PCI. The internal video would probably be enough for me and I already have the TV tuner card.... It seems a shame to waste such good internal video!
Unless it gets crippled badly like some of the nForce1's did........ :(

I have the SK41G (AMD, AGP one) and I love it. I didn't think it was that bad of a deal either. I paid $309 shipped from NewEgg.

It works great and is very quite (contrary to popular belief).

As for the SN41.... It has been said that it will be around $100 more expensive than the others becasue it is new and because it has a Geforce 4 MX onboard.... so expect to pay $400+......WHEN it finally comes out. (Remember, it was supposed to be out at the end of November)
