Shuttle debris pix - amazing

that is so very sad. I couldn't imagine how their families felt watching it all fall to earth🙁

it is unfortunate that a tragedy had to happen for us to marvel at our countries technical accomplishments 🙁
 
I guess it's good that a lot of the debris landed in Texas which is not very crowded, vs. the New England area....

DId any of you see in one of the articles about the crash where longtime family friends of Husband called his home as the shuttle flew over theirs and left a message on his machine saying they saw him? Shortly after was when things got bad.
 
if a printer survived to hit the ground, you have to wonder how long the astronauts survived... 😱
 
It evidently broke up (the big one) about 12 miles NW of my house.

Everyone that heard it said there were multiple sonic booms & all the dogs howled.

I just haven't had the will to go look for parts🙁
