Shuttle an35 ultra lockout jumpers?

I need to know what my options are if any. I have been fighting this board for awhile and have had nothing but issues. I need to try to update the BIOS since what I have read about the latest should fix my issues. I am using Winflash on a bootable floppy and trying to update to BIOS ver. an35s00r. I have the AN35N-Ultra v1.1. Wen trying to update the BIOS, it goes through what seems to be all the correct steps, then tells me to "check the lockout jumpers" or "set the lockout jumpers" or something similar. I will try to run the update again to get the exact message if needed. Any help will be appreciated.

I am ver savvy with PCs, I am just a little rusty with my troubleshooting. I have searched all FAQs on the Shuttle site, which isn't very helpful, and have searched AnandTech forums for info as well.

There may also be a "write protect" jumper on the board, but it is likely a bios setting as LiLithTecH suggested. Have you read the manual?
