That is a binary interpretation of the written word to prove a contradiction that is not there - of course dems could just adopt repub policy 100% and this would all be a non issue to begin with. Am I right? True dat 00000001.

Help me see it. Does the CR include policy changes?
If it does, then Republicans are to blame.

I've now got Chuck D and circa 1991 Public Enemy in my head... Shut 'em down... Shut em shut em down.

Mitch decided to play with fire because he can probably blame it on Dump? I think they will both wear equal amounts of egg if a shut down happens.

Dems heard people say stand up for kids, I think they chose right. A party with full control letting the government shut down is as unprecedented as everything else in this bad joke of an admin. Dems are at least standing up for American kids, that they're mostly brown doesn't matter. Quite the disparity, once again.

No, this is on Mitch. He knew the whip count last night and decided to hold the vote until 10pm tonight to "build suspense"...Chuck was asking him to hold the vote late last night so they could get back to the drawing board today.

What's hilarious is that the additional votes picked up today were Ds...no additional Rs from whip count yesterday. Remember I said that Graham Durbin framework at least had 56?? They wanted to put the wrong proposal on the floor. Make no mistake...between Mitch and Trump, a Republican decided to shut it down.

Well I still go to work on Monday. I’m tentatively supposed to continue working but I personally think I’ll probably end up furloughed but on call.

Worse, there are legal immigrant dreamers, people on work visas who brought their kids to this country. There's no DACA for their kids. When they reach 21 they either get a visa themselves or deported. If they get a visa, they then have to join a decades long queue.

Stupid legal immigrants for following the rules, just show up illegal and you'll get a path to citizenship on a platter.

So it's a spite thing?

Unbelievable, GOP managed to shut down the government while controlling all 3 branches. All Trump had to do was nothing, but he had to go mess with DACA because Obama.

He had a bipartisan agreement in hand. He could accept that right now and this is can blame Dems all they want but their own part wasn’t enough to even get to 50 votes.

Will Putin's Puppet go golfing or stay to encourage some work getting done? Who am I kidding, we all know the answer to that question.
