I have a problem. Everytime i shutdown my PC (Win XP Pro) after it exits the UI it stays for 5 mins at Writing unsaved data to disk or smthing like that (i have the Grrek version). The system is defragmented and on disk errors occur. I just dont know what 2 do since restarts tend to last 6 minutes... Any so;ution known?

Thank you. I didnt expect it was the pagefile that screwd up my system... thnx for your advice. the only concern i ave is that this option sould be enabled by default. It might be the fact that i had the pagefile set to 0 for some time and after re-enabling it that option for no reason was enabled. Thank u again.

There is a program called "TweakXP" that makes startups and shutdowns quite a bit faster...

I'm not sure that it is enabled by default? It is disabled on my XP pro system and I didn't disable it....
