oh yeah, add more RAM or repair your system, 'cuz page files being erased take a while
 
Defrag the HD in addition to doing the things mentioned above.
Make sure you have plenty of free space on your HD (at least 10%)
Remove all unnecessary programs that might be running in the background.
 
Did you install any tweak program that gave you the option to "Clear Page file on shutdown?" If so, disable that option.
 
windows requires at least 15% free HD space to defrag, by any chance did you set your computer to clear pagefile at shutdown?

What type of spyware/adware removing programs are you running? In addition to the microsoft antispyware I would add Adaware, Spybot, and Spywareblaster.
