Shure SCL4

Picked up a pair of SCL4's at Guitar Center on sale for $79. All I can say is wow. It is a huge improvement from my JVC Marshmallows 😛

Now I am not an audiophile by any means but they do sound great. Bass is good and the overall sound is just very crisp

ugh only the white pair? sigh
half of the reason I get earbuds in black is to stand apart from all the apple yuppies on campus rockin' the white buds.
other half is because black tends to be the more common color when buying buds, and the Shure E2c's I have happen to have come only in black where I bought them.
But they might be dying now, starting to hear crackling from time to time. If they are out of warranty I might need to get new ones.
I don't think they got treated as well as they should have, so I might have killed them through neglect/abuse. 🙁
Or it might have been my Zune 30gb scratched the jack, because just rotating the connector in the socket seems to change whether I hear any static or not. And it looks like it has a ring scratched around it. Not sure.

The SCL4 is the modern-day E4C I believe, which was several levels higher than the JVC Marshmallows. I would hope you would hear a huge improvement!
80$ was a steal

I would rather have the black ones too but for over 150 less, I'm not complaining
